Iain Sinclair on The Gold Machine: Drunken priests and fever dreams - The Big Issue

The Big Issue commissioned me to create an illustration for a book review of Iain Sinclair's The Gold Machine. The book follows Sinclair’s journey to Peru as he retraces the steps of his great-grandfather, guided by a hand-drawn map. Along the way, Sinclair uncovers hidden treasures and creates a documentary of his exploration. My illustration visually supports this fascinating blend of history, adventure, and discovery.
